Easy to make with endless variations of flavours, a flavoured butter is delicious with steak, roasted veg or simply melted on a jacket potato.
Ingredients

250g organic unsalted butter
-
Handful of chopped herbs: parsley, rosemary, thyme or chives

1 garlic clove, crushed

50g blue cheese, crumbled

1 lemon, zest only

Sea salt & cracked black pepper
Directions
Soften unsalted butter to a spreadable consistency
Mix in your desired flavourings, such as herbs, garlic and lemon zest
Transfer the butter onto a piece of cling film or baking paper, shape it into a roll, wrap it tightly and twist the ends to seal.
Store in the fridge or freeze for up to three months
Slice off what you need for cooking and enjoy
