Storage & Shelf Life
Our Lamb stock bones are delivered fresh in an insulated box. They are butchered fresh to order and will arrive with an 8+ days shelf life (including the day of delivery). We recommend for these to be stored below 4 degrees or alternatively, you can pop them in the freezer for up to 6 months.
How To Cook
We Recommend:
Prepare the Bones:
- Arrange the bones in a single layer on a large roasting pan. If using a mix of bones (e.g., beef and lamb), you can combine them in one pan.
- Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. This helps the bones brown more evenly.
Optional Vegetables:
- If using, place the onions, carrots, celery, and garlic around the bones in the roasting pan. These vegetables add additional flavour and depth to the stock.
Roast the Bones:
- Roast in the preheated oven for 30-45 minutes, or until the bones are deeply browned and caramelized. You may need to turn the bones once during roasting to ensure even browning.
