- 1 can (400g) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:
-
Sauté the Vegetables:

- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
-
Brown the Venison:
- Add the venison mince to the pot. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Add Remaining Ingredients:
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika. Bring to a simmer.
-
Cook the Chili:
- Reduce heat to low and cover. Let the chili simmer for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning as needed.
-
Serve:
- Ladle the chili into bowls and top with sour cream, cheese, and cilantro if desired. Enjoy with bread or rice!
