How To Cook
We Recommend:
Pan-Fried Venison Burgers
Ingredients:
- 4 venison burger patties (around 150g each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, fresh herbs, or Worcestershire sauce (for added flavour)
- Burger buns and toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.)
Instructions:
-
Season the Patties: (Optional)
- Season the venison burger patties with salt and pepper on both sides. You can also add extra seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, or a dash of Worcestershire sauce to enhance the flavour.
-
Heat the Pan:
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil or butter in a large frying pan or skillet over medium heat.
-
Cook the Burgers:
- Place the venison patties in the hot pan, cooking for 4-5 minutes per side. Avoid pressing down on the burgers, as this can squeeze out moisture.
- Venison burgers are best cooked to medium-rare to medium (around 135-145°F or 57-63°C). They can dry out quickly if overcooked.
-
Rest and Assemble:
- Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the pan and let them rest for a couple of minutes to keep them juicy.
- Assemble your burger with the buns and desired toppings. Serve with fries, salad, or any side of your choice.
