Eversfield Organic at the Ring Of Bells, North Bovey
With the year almost up and attention turning to 2023, we thought it was about time to share some news with our Eversfield Organic family. We're delighted to announce that we will be taking over The Ring of Bells at North Bovey, and thus extending our quest to offer divine local organic produce across the whole of Dartmoor.
Our aim is to carry on the legacy of the popular historic pub, honouring its Dartmoor heritage and local community. Having already established three successful restaurants and farm shops across the Southwest, including the award-winning Dartmoor Inn at Merrivale, we feel The Ring of Bells is the perfect jewel to add to our organic crown.
Nestled in the Northeast of Dartmoor, the tranquil village of North Bovey boasts stunning scenery, numerous walks and a well-loved pub. Just 45 minutes from Exeter and an hour from Plymouth, you've now got another reason to visit!

Expect to be served 100% locally farmed, organic food and rest assured our kitchen team hold nothing back when it comes to taste. As we have become famous for our grass-fed beef, the menu will centre around an ox grill, bringing back the theatre of a night out by searing steaks above the fire in a unique and immersive dining experience. The menu will also feature a catch of the day, burgers and a vegetarian special, as well as separate breakfast and lunch menus. The bar will offer a wide selection of local, organic ales, alongside wines, cocktails, and soft drinks which can be enjoyed in our superbly spacious beer garden.
All compostable waste from the restaurant will be taken back to be transformed for use in our farm’s market garden. This will then grow the food to supply our restaurant, meaning every step feeds into our closed loop sustainability model.

Our founder and director, Mark, spoke about his hopes for the new venture: “The Ring of Bells is an extremely exciting opportunity for us to support the local community, further our organic, closed-loop sustainability ethos and most importantly provide an amazing dining experience. We cannot wait to open.”
The Ring of Bells is set to reopen in January 2023 under Eversfield Organic’s management. So, keep your eyes peeled for information as to how you can kick off the New Year in the tastiest way possible.
