Father’s Day Gift Guide
Whilst Dad might be the easier of the two parents to buy gifts for, we understand that Father’s Day ideas might still be hard to come by. So, as with Mother’s Day, we’re here to give you the low down on the best Father’s Day gifts for the coming celebration.
This year, UK Father’s Day falls on the 20th of June and although that may seem like a little while off, we’d bet that it’ll soon creep up on us. Get yourself ahead of the game and add some gifts for Dad to your next organic food delivery.
We’ve introduced two new Father’s Day gift boxes to make getting gifts for dad as easy as possible. Our Father’s Day Devon Gift Box offers four of our newly launched Barnaby’s Brewhouse award-winning, sustainably produced craft ales. The brewhouse is located just across Dartmoor in South Devon, combining a passion for unique, premium beers with a sustainable business approach. They use renewable energy sources and avoid waste products in their efforts to help the environment and produce the purest beers possible.
The gift set includes Barnaby’s Green Tomato Saison, English IPA, Dunkel and Pilsner varieties, with everything from earthy and spicy tones to smooth, chocolaty tastes. Our new Devon Gift Box gives Dad a true taste of this stunning Southwest County this Father’s Day.
Prefer tastes from across the border? We’ve also launched a second gift box for this year’s celebrations; the Father’s Day Cornish Gift Box. For something a little different, we’ve paired two Atlantic Brewery ales with two Themptation CBD-infused chocolate bars. Atlantic Brewery create their distinctive ales just a few miles from the beautiful north coast of Cornwall, a stone’s throw from the beachside town of Newquay and their namesake the Atlantic Ocean. In their 18th century farmhouse turned organic brewery, the company work to produce premium beers and cask ales in the most natural way.
Just a little way back up the coast in Padstow you’ll find Themptation HQ, who aim to bring hemp to the forefront of British food culture. Hemp is known for its many health benefits, from packing a big protein punch to being high in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, calcium and iron. It’s also great for the environment, as Themptation explain that hemp can fertilise the soil that it grows in and absorb 4 times more CO2 per acre than trees. Both their Dark Chocolate and Dark Mint Chocolate selections are infused with raw CBD oil and carry a slightly nutty, richer taste than traditional dark chocolate.
A Bottle of Luxury
Keeping things simple is sometimes the way to go when looking for a Father’s Day gift, and many believe you can’t go wrong with a bottle of something strong. We’re continually trying to improve our range of organic beverages and the current jewels in our alcoholic crown may be right up Dad’s street.
Nc’Nean’s Single Malt Scotch Whisky is almost too pretty to touch, but the smooth and elegant flavours of citrus, peach and apricot make this tasty tipple all too easy to empty. This premium whisky is made from organic Scottish barley, with Nc’Nean taking pride on making a big impression with the smallest footprint. Every bottle of their signature organic whisky is distilled using 100% renewable energy and 100% recycled glass, making for a lovely, guilt-free gift.
The newest addition to our virtual top shelf is the gift that gives back. When you purchase a bottle of the Land of Saints Gin, both ourselves and The Cornish Spirits Drink Company will donate a minimum of 50 pence each to the Fauna and Flora International charity. The charity works alongside the likes of Sir David Attenborough and Prince William the Duke of Cambridge in conservation efforts around the globe. So, when you purchase a bottle of the Land of Saints gin for Dad this Father’s Day, not only will he receive a smooth, fresh, handcrafted gin made only from the best organic ingredients, but you’ll also be contributing to global conservation efforts. Sounds like a win, win to us.
Our Father’s Day 2021 collection is ready for browsing, just remember to order before 10am on Thursday 17th June for delivery in time for the celebrations.
