From slow-cooked pulled pork to sizzling chicken thighs and classic beef mince, we’ve put together three delicious organic taco recipes to inspire your celebration.
Tacos are all about building layers of flavour — and with the right organic ingredients, they become something truly special. Whether you’re using soft flour tortillas, crisp corn shells, or hand-pressed masa tacos, we’ve got something for everyone.
🌶️ 1. Smoky Chipotle Chicken Thigh Tacos
Description:
Juicy, charred organic chicken thighs marinated in chipotle and lime — these tacos are full of warmth, spice, and a little zing. Perfect for a quick midweek meal or a laid-back weekend feast.
Ingredients:

500g Eversfield Organic chicken thighs, boneless and skinless

2 tbsp olive oil
-
2 tsp smoked paprika
-
1 tsp chipotle chilli flakes or paste

1 tsp ground cumin
-
Zest and juice of 1 lime
-
2 garlic cloves, crushed
-
Salt and pepper to taste
For the toppings:

Shredded lettuce
-
Diced avocado
-
Chopped coriander
-
Lime wedges
-
Sour cream or Greek yoghurt
Method:

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, chipotle, paprika, cumin, garlic, salt and pepper.

Add the chicken thighs, coat well, and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).

Heat a skillet or griddle pan on medium-high and cook the chicken for about 5–6 minutes per side until charred and cooked through.

Rest for a few minutes, slice, and serve in soft flour or corn tacos.

Top with avocado, lettuce, coriander, and a drizzle of sour cream.
Taco suggestion: Soft corn tortillas work beautifully here — they bring out the smoky flavours of the chipotle.
🍖 2. Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork Tacos
Description:
Melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork made from organic Pork Shoulder boned and rolled, slow-cooked until tender and packed with tangy, sweet, and spicy flavour. Perfect for sharing with family and friends.
Ingredients:

1.5kg Eversfield Organic pork shoulder

1 onion, sliced
-
2 tsp smoked paprika
-
1 tsp ground coriander
-
2 tsp brown sugar
-
1 tbsp tomato purée
-
250ml apple juice or cider
-
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
-
Salt and pepper
For the toppings:

Pickled red onions
-
Fresh pineapple chunks or mango salsa

Shredded cabbage
-
BBQ sauce
Method:

Rub the pork with paprika, coriander, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.

Place in a slow cooker or casserole dish with onion, tomato purée, apple juice, and vinegar.

Cook on low for 6–8 hours (or in the oven at 150°C for 4–5 hours) until the pork easily shreds.

Pull apart using two forks and mix with a little of the cooking juices.

Serve in crispy taco shells or toasted flour tortillas, topped with pineapple salsa and pickled onions.

🥩 3. Classic Spiced Beef Mince Tacos
Description:
A timeless favourite — rich, savoury organic minced beef cooked with aromatic spices and served with all the trimmings. Simple, crowd-pleasing, and utterly delicious.
Ingredients:

500g Eversfield Organic beef mince

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp smoked paprika
-
½ tsp chilli powder (optional)

2 tbsp tomato purée
-
100ml beef stock
-
Salt and pepper
For the toppings:

Diced tomato

Shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack

Lettuce
-
Sour cream

Jalapeños
Method:

Heat olive oil in a frying pan, sauté onion and garlic until soft.

Add beef mince and brown well.

Stir in cumin, paprika, chilli powder, tomato purée, and beef stock.

Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened and well combined.

Spoon into soft flour tacos, and top with cheese, tomato, lettuce, and sour cream.
