As our family-run organic delivery company continues to grow in many directions, naturally so does the Eversfield Organic herd. We’re currently hiring for a wide range of positions across our various ventures, including at our family farm in Bratton Clovelly, Devon, our Totnes Farm Shop, Café & Bar and at the Dartmoor Inn, Merrivale. At the Farm

Our family-run, organic farm nestled on the edge of Dartmoor National Park is the hub of everything Eversfield Organic. It’s here that our herd of native Aberdeen Angus heritage cattle graze on our organic pasture, it’s where we hand-butcher our organic meat and where we carefully pick and pack all of our organic food boxes.

 

We’re extremely proud of our state-of-the-art butchery which, being on our farm, helps to reduce food miles and keeps the organic meat in the best condition possible. The butchery is headed up by Scott, with the help of his team of traditionally trained, expertly skilled butchers who ensure the utmost care, respect and passion for producing outstanding cuts by hand. Our organic butchery only ever butchers to order, meaning our organic, grass fed meat never sits in plastic packaging. Our creative butchers are always brainstorming new ways to produce innovative, premium cuts of meat, from new sausage flavours using organic pork to easy carving joints of grass fed beef.

Sound like you’d fit in well in our ethical butchery? We currently have two positions to join our team of expert butchers and operatives. The first is for a senior Butcher, working to butcher meat for customers who order organic grocery boxes across the UK. We’re looking for an experienced butcher who can work from whole animal to individual cut level, ensuring orders are butchered on time, helping with smooth production and aiding our apprentice and junior butchers to learn the trade.

 

Our organic butchery is also looking for a Butchery Packer & Dispatcher, who will work alongside our butchers to make sure our organic meat leaves our farm in top notch condition and on time. This job involves weighing, packing and sealing the meat, plus working in our processing department to handmake our award-winning burgers, sausages and more.

 

At the Dartmoor Inn

The newest venture for Eversfield Organic is our step (or perhaps leap) into hospitality. The Dartmoor Inn, Merrivale finally opened its doors in May, offering guests a 100% organic dining experience and a relaxing stay in our moorland rooms. The “meat eaters paradise” serves organic, grass fed meat seared to perfection on our Ox Grill, alongside organic vegetables from our very own Market Garden.

Looking to improve your cooking skills or want to experience a new way of cooking? We’re on the hunt for both a Chef and a Trainee Chef to work alongside our current kitchen staff and Head Chef at the inn. Our new Chef will work underneath our Head Chef to assist in the smooth running of the kitchen, cook over the grill and have a flair for cooking in front of the customer. We’d also love our chef to be knowledgeable in food safety and hygiene, plus have a passion for serving premium food.

 

Our Trainee Chef will have much of the same qualities as our other chefs: a passion for quality food and an interest in the hospitality industry. We’re opening this role up to anyone with these interests as full training will be provided by our current kitchen team, so please feel free to apply regardless of experience.

 

As the Dartmoor Inn, Merrivale continues to develop, so does it’s need for helpful, confident and friendly Waiting Staff. Our enthusiastic and bubbly Waiting Staff will help the smooth running of the inn, offering a complete organic dining experience. 

 

At the Totnes Farm Shop, Café & Bar

Our organic Farm Shops in Tavistock and Totnes are the perfect place to showcase the best of our organic food and drink, award-winning produce and grass fed, organic meat straight from our family farm. Our Totnes Farm Shop comes with the newly relaunched Café & Bar, offering a selection of organic small plates and an extensive drinks list.

We have two pretty big positions to fill for our Totnes Farm Shop, Café & Bar. We’re on the lookout for a Shop Manager and a Shop Supervisor to work together to create a positive and friendly atmosphere, inspiring both the team and customers alike. Our Farm Shop Manager position is a high-profile, demanding role that provides unique rewards and challenges. We’re looking for someone with a passion for quality organic produce and commitment to great customer service. 

 

For the Farm Shop Supervisor Role, we’d love someone with positive leadership skills as well as being self-motivated, organised and passionate about our wide range of organic food and drink. 

 

As previously mentioned, our Café & Bar has recently relaunched and we’re looking for a Farm Café Assistant to join our friendly team. We’re predominantly looking for someone to join our evening staff working at our bar, aiding its smooth running, mixing up cocktails and serving organic wine, plus a passion for customer service is a great help!
