Mix your sausage meat and diced onion together in a bowl
Cut the unrolled pastry lengthways to make two long strips, halve the sausage mix and lay each half along the edge of one of the pastry strips
Roll the meat up into the pastry, press lightly to seal the join underneath
Brush with the beaten egg and sprinkle with the seasme and poppy seeds
Cut each roll into four
Space the rolls out on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, until golden and cooked through

Suitable for home freezing. Freeze raw and cook from frozen, add an additonal 5 minutes cooking time to ensure the rolls are cooked all the way through.
