Using thick and creamy Jersey Buttermilk, this recipe is definitely one to share with family and friends. Give this easy pancake recipe a go this Pancake Day.

You’ll Need:

Method:

  1. Sieve the flour, baking powder and bicarb of soda into a large mixing bowl, making a well in the middle.
  2. Whisk the organic eggs and Jersey buttermilk together, then pour into the well of the flour.
  3. Gradually whisk the eggs and buttermilk into the flour, trying to avoid lumps. When combined well, add the melted butter or oil and whisk again.
  4. Heat a frying pan with a small amount of oil. Once hot, add a cupful of the batter to the pan and cook until it starts to bubble on top and the underside is golden and crisp.
  5. Use a spatula to flip the pancake and again cook until the underside is golden. Repeat until all the batter is used up.
  6. Serve with your choice of toppings and enjoy!
