Storage & Shelf Life
Our lamb Barnsley chops are delivered fresh in an insulated box. They are butchered fresh to order and will arrive with a 9-day shelf life (including the day of delivery). We recommend for these to be stored below 4 degrees or alternatively, you can pop them in the freezer for up to 6 months.
How To Cook
We Recommend:
Marinate the Chops:
- Mix olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Rub the mixture all over the Barnsley chops and let them sit for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the fridge.
Preheat the Grill:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (180-200°C / 350-400°F).
Grill the Chops:
- Place the chops on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or 6-7 minutes per side for medium, depending on the thickness of the chops.
- Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness: 125°F (52°C) for medium-rare, 135°F (57°C) for medium.
Rest and Serve:
- Let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice and your favourite sides like grilled vegetables or salad.
