Storage & Shelf Life
Our Lamb leg steaks are delivered fresh in an insulated box. They are butchered fresh to order and will arrive with a 9+ days shelf life (including the day of delivery). We recommend for these to be stored below 4 degrees or alternatively, you can pop them in the freezer for up to 6 months.
How To Cook
We Recommend:
Heat the Pan:
- Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is shimmering, add the lamb chops
Sear the Chops:
- Sear the chops for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Add the butter, garlic, and herbs during the last minute of cooking, basting the chops with the melted butter for extra flavour.
- For medium-rare, the internal temperature should reach 125°F (52°C); for medium, 135°F (57°C).
- Remove the chops from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes. Serve with pan juices and your favourite sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or sautéed greens.
