Just the ticket to spruce up your sprouts! Just add a little Roam & Relish streaky bacon for an extra festive treat. Serve with a little grated nutmeg.
Blanche the trimmed sprouts in a pan of lightly salted boiling water for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, add the butter to a frying pan with the onion and fry for a few minutes until soft and translucent.
Remove the onions from the pan and fry the Roam & Relish bacon until crispy.
Drain the sprouts and add to the frying pan of bacon, along with the softened onions.
Fry lightly for a couple of minutes until the sprouts are coated and caramelised.
Add the grated nutmeg and serve.
