Dating back to the 13th Century, this historic Inn represents a fresh opportunity to provide superb organic produce straight from our local family-run farm to your plate.

Our menu offers you a chance to sample a range of specially-selected local produce from our artisan suppliers alongside farm fresh organic steak, vegetables and salad from our Dartmoor farm. 

Settle down with a glass of red and experience your steak sear to perfection on our open top grill or opt for a table in our spacious beer garden with a moorland backdrop. No matter your preference, we can provide a night to remember. 

Exceptional local tipples are all available at our bar. We stock Exeter brewery, Atlantic Brewery and South Hams Brewery, all of which can be enjoyed straight from the barrel.

We're open for coffee and cake all day long. Just pop in, no need to book!

Your Luxury Moorland Retreat

Here at the Ring of Bells Inn, we have five beautifully decorated guest bedrooms available to hire on a bed and breakfast basis. All of the rooms are en suite and are furnished with extremely comfortable Hypnos beds, the perfect comfort after an action packed day exploring Dartmoor's beauty.

All of the room rates are based on double occupancy. Dishes are prepared fresh daily so our menu may change slightly. Check out our sample menus.

We welcome dogs in all of our rooms except room 1.

Cancellation policy – Bookings can be cancelled up to 48hrs in advance with just a £30 admin/cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled after this time will receive a 50% refund plus £30 admin/cancellation fee.
