Eversfield Organic family run farm COVID-19 update

COVID-19 Update

Following Saturday’s announcement, here's an update of what we’re doing at this time.

COVID-19 Update

Following Saturday’s Government announcement of a second national lockdown from Thursday 5th November, we would like to give you a quick update of what we’re doing at Eversfield Organic during this time.

Of course, our main priority is the safety and well-being of our staff, customers and the wider community. Below is all the information you need to understand just how we’re going to do this.

Online Deliveries

Whether the announcement of a second national lockdown was a surprise to you or not, we all must admit we’re a little confused about the new rules and how it will differ from the last one.

At Eversfield Organic, we worked around the clock earlier in the year to get all your orders out to you and we want to assure you that this time around will be no different. So go ahead and order to your heart’s content (but don’t worry, we still have plenty of stock so there’s no need to panic or bulk buy). Our grocery deliveries are available Tuesday to Saturday every week, with both our own delivery drivers and those of our partners, DPD, continuing to implement Covid-safe measures.

We have lots of delivery slots still available throughout November and beyond. If you’re worried about getting your Christmas goodies on time, we still have Christmas deliveries available but be sure to place your order as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.

At Eversfield Organic we don’t just offer organic food deliveries via our website – you can call us too. This is particularly useful for those who are isolating or vulnerable and may not be so familiar with online shopping. If you know someone who may benefit from this, please tell them to give us a call on 01837 871400 and we’ll be happy to help them place an order. We’re all in this together.

Farm Shops, Tavistock and Totnes

As an essential service to your high street, our Tavistock and Totnes farm shops will remain open as normal throughout the four-week lockdown. In addition, both shops will still operate their click and collect service. Normal opening hours will continue, with both shops open Monday – Saturday 8:30am-5:30pm, plus Sunday 9:30am-4pm. Plenty of time for you to shop and collect all your organic groceries (but please remember your facemask and to sanitise your hands!)

Farm Café and Bar, Totnes

Our Farm Café and Bar above our Totnes Farm Shop will be offering a delicious organic takeaway food menu. The tasty treats will be available to order on our new app launching Thursday 5th November for collection and enjoyment in the comfort and safety of your home.

In anticipation of lockdown lifting on Thursday 3rd December, the Café and Bar will reopen as usual.

Eversfield Organic Bar & Grill and The Little Farm Shed at Dartmoor Inn, Merrivale.

The Bar & Grill and accompanying Little Farm Shed at Dartmoor Inn, Merrivale are both to be closed from Wednesday 6th November at 6pm. This gives us time to reinvent the summer hangout into a winter wonderland for you to enjoy upon the hopeful reopening on Thursday 3rd December – think hot chocolate, bowls of warming food, fairy lights and cosy nights. Keep your eyes peeled for more on this soon!

Whilst there may be little changes here and there, there’s still plenty of ways you can get your (sanitised) hands on our delicious organic goodies. There’s also lots of ways to keep yourself entertained during lockdown. From kick-starting a healthy, balanced diet to creating restaurant-quality meals at home, look out for our yummy recipe suggestions coming soon.

Lastly, from everyone here at Eversfield Organic, we hope you stay safe and would like to thank you for your continued support.
